A few kilometers beyond Namur lies Wépion, a sleepy riverside village at the heart of Belgium's strawberry-growing district, and the country's self-appointed "Strawberry Capital." Wépion's Musée de la Fraise (Strawberry Museum), chaussée de Dinant 1037 (tel. 081/46-20-07), is devoted to the fruit. In summer, you can buy strawberries from local kiosks.
