Calling itself a retro-chic boutique hotel, the Veranda House, originally built in 1684, is one of the island’s most stylish B&Bs. Inside, it looks like nothing else on island: There’s rattan mixed with club chairs mixed with zebra striped benches in the common areas. The rooms have colorful artwork and accents. The smallest ones are well priced for budget travelers, particularly off-season.
