This famous restaurant in a rose-covered cottage has become even better in recent years. The chef-owner Jeff Worster has reinvented the strictly French menu to reflect modern ways of dining. That means, just taking a sampling from the appetizers menu, that the seared tuna au poivre is served with Green Goddess dressing, and roasted butternut squash comes with an apple bisque with ginger crème fraîche, Thai curry, and a lobster egg roll. Still, this remains one of the island’s most formal dining experiences—a place for special occasions.
