No list of restaurants on Nantucket would be complete without the Club Car, a classic since it was founded in 1977. The restaurant has stuck to the same formula for decades, classic French cuisine served in a traditionally fancy dining room. Diners return year after year for the beef Wellington night, the famous crab cakes, and shrimp scampi. After dinner, diners can wander into the club car section—an actual train car from when a train used to run from downtown Nantucket out to [‘]Sconset. This piano bar is loads of fun in the summer.
