Although much of the food here has global inspirations, the focus is on sourcing ingredients from small Nantucket and New England farms. The menu has mostly small plates of light bites, and hungry people will need three or four to satisfy them, so you might want to just come for a drink and an appetizer if you’re on a budget. You might choose the duck fat potatoes with figs and smoked blue cheese or the eggplant puree with orange blossom honey. The flavors are a revelation. The dining room is very beautiful, a sort of hip ode to the island’s history. It’s fun to sit at the bar and soak in the atmosphere.
