One of the best values in Napa, this four-building inn has spacious and attractive rooms, with lovely landscaping, a hot tub on the patio, and experts behind the desk (they’re helpful in setting up wine tasting itineraries for first timers). There are all sorts of extras, including a good breakfast (with made-to-order items!) and freshly baked cookies in the afternoon. If walking stairs is an issue for you, be sure to ask the staff for a ground-level room or an upstairs room in a building with an elevator. The hotel is within walking distance of Napa’s downtown center and close to Highway 29, the region’s thoroughfare; wineries are mere minutes away.
