Most visitors arrive at the Southwest Florida International Airport, 35 miles north of Naples in Fort Myers. Naples Municipal Airport, on North Road off Airport-Pulling Road (tel. 239/643-6875; www.flynaples.com), is served by the commuter arms of American (tel. 800/433-7300) and United/US Airways (tel. 800/428-4322), which means you'll have to connect in Miami, Tampa, or Orlando.
Taxis await all flights outside the small terminal building. Avis (tel. 800/331-1212), Budget (tel. 800/527-0700), Hertz (tel. 800/654-3131), and National (tel. 800/CAR-RENT [227-7368]) have booths at the airport. Enterprise (tel. 800/325-8007) is located in town.
