The completely non-smoking Guest House Narabiyori is a 7-minute walk from Kintetsu Nara Train Station and offers simple Japanese-style accommodation with shared showers in a renovated traditional building. A free-use kitchen, rental bicycles and a coin launderette are available. Guests at Narabiyori House sleep in Japanese futon bedding, either on a bunk bed frame in a dormitory room or on a tatami (woven-straw) floor in a private room. All rooms are air-conditioned, and linens are offered at a surcharge. JR Nara Train Station is a 15-minute walk away, and Todai-ji Temple is 1.7 km away. Nara park is about a 25-minute walk away.
