Nashville has a striking skyline with a mix of high-rise and historic buildings. At the time of writing, most views of the city were dotted with cranes due to incessant construction. (The “Nashville Business Journal” even created a “Nashville Crane Watch” page to keep up with all the projects.) But no matter what development is shooting up, you’ll always be able to see Nashville’s most defining skyscraper: the pointy-eared Batman Building, technically the AT&T building, but no one has ever called it that.
Downtown Nashville was built around the Cumberland River, though today the city sprawls for miles in all directions. Outlying areas include beautiful farmland, scenic parks and lakes, and rolling foothills, but many of the city’s biggest attractions remain within striking distance of the urban core.
