This unassuming ice-cream shop housed in a pretty Victorian home in a residential area of East Nashville has been garnering national attention in the food press. Run by a young mother who has a passion for rich, creamy ice-cream flavors, the Pied Piper features kid-pleasing choices like birthday cake with rainbow sprinkles and blue (or pink) icing, and dozens more. Traditional flavors include chocolate, toffee, blueberry cheesecake, and peppermint, but the top seller is Trailer Trash: vanilla ice cream with Twix, M&M’s, Reese’s pieces, and assorted other crushed candy bars.
