World of WearableArt™ & Classic Cars Museum
Classic cars and fancy duds may seem like an odd partnership but you’re in for a visual feast here. Along with over 50 collectible cars and motorbikes, this museum houses a remarkable collection of past entries and winners of the internationally renowned World of Wearable Art Awards (or WOW™). Started in 1987 by Nelson’s Suzie Moncrieff, the awards show now attracts over 35,000 viewers. But that's not all! Also within the museum complex is the Reflections Art Gallery, which has excellent exhibitions of New Zealand painting, sculpture, prints, photography, glass, ceramics, and jewelry.
