Morrison Street Café
Always bustling (some would say noisy), the Morrison Street Cafe earns its popularity with its friendly service and because of its surprisingly creative menu, which scans the globe and is on a par with what you'd get in a far fancier (and pricier) place. Among the surprises on the lunch list are a fab lamb & pumpkin gozleme (a sort of Turkish fried ravioli with yogurt sauce), Pad Thai and a scrumptious roasted vegetable, quinoa & haloumi salad (they have a number of options that are vegetarian, gluten-free or even vegan). Breakfasts are as impressive, ranging from porridge with rhubarb and raspberry compote to eggs benedict. The only downsides to eating here are 1) there's sometimes a wait to get in and 2) they don't serve dinner.
