Located across the street from one another, both were founded in the mid-1800s by the Firemen’s Charitable and Benevolent Association. Each has some highly original tombs; keep your eyes open for the ones made entirely of iron. These are an easy streetcar ride up Candal Street from the Quarter. Just take the streetcar called "Cemeteries." Duh.
