Despite it being one of the most stunning, sexy bars in the city, the near-hidden, converted brothel opened in 2014 with an air of exclusivity that we just couldn’t get beyond. As happens even with supermodels, it’s aged and mellowed. It hasn’t lost its looks but now the vibe is easy-going and approachable; drinks are made with care; food is much improved (the Brussels sprouts make great bar snacks). Date nighters and young professionals mix quietly on the seductive patio or in the sleek brick interior.
