This darling of the gourmet hot-dog boom ought to satisfy any dog-related craving, what with 16 types of franks and sausages (including vegan options) and umpteen toppings. Success depends on your personal selections, and as dog traditionalists we prefer the brats and imported German wieners over the gator, turducken, or crawfish dogs. Still, we admit the duck version with blackberry sauce was darn good, and the fluffy buns held up well. There are burger and chicken-breast sammies too. The bright blue buildings at all three locales make for an easy, fun hang with a brew and your crew (the gallery overlooking Frenchmen St. is a stellar view) and an inexpensive dinner (though it’s still a $7–$9 hot dog).
