Oddball menu, off cuts of meats and poultry, weird location, weirder flavor mash-ups. No worry, it mostly works. Adventurous Marjie’s fuses Thai, Cambodian, and Filipino ingredients with NOLA standards and, in many cases, smokes them over coal or wood. It’s not all rabbit livers and lamb belly (just some of it), but the novel results do include chili-spiked pig knuckles glazed with cane syrup or spicy raw seafood salad with a hit of lime and mint. Cool it down with smashed cucumbers and sticky Thai-style BBQ ribs. A side of roast sweet potatoes is necessary. Service and space are mismatched-dish-style casual; weather permitting, the outdoor wood deck is the sweet spot here
