Meril is Emeril Lagasse’s newest concept, breezy and casual in style, lower in price point, and small plates focused. The bustling space opens onto a large horseshoe-shaped bar, next to an expansive dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows. The bar’s creative cocktail program centers on local ingredients and fresh herbs. Dishes feature inventive takes on some of Lagasse’s favorite foods, influenced in part by the docu-series "Eat the World with Emeril Lagasse." Lok for Mexican-inspired tamales made with boudin topped with a roasted tomatillo sauce; Korean short ribs cooked on a Japanese robata-style grill, served with kimchi cucumbers; and linguine and clams made with guanciale and blistered tomatoes.
