People interested in tracing their Jewish ancestry can visit the Center for Jewish History, which is the largest repository of Jewish records, artifacts, books, and letters in the world—100 million archived documents in all—and has a state-of-the-art genealogical library open to all. Three to four temporary exhibits, drawn usually from these vast archives, are housed in three large, on-site galleries.
