Central Park Information Centers
Updated Aug 23, 2026——The Information Center in the Dairy, is located midpark in a 19th-century-style building overlooking Wollman Rink at about 65th Street, to get a good park map and other information on sights and events, and to peruse the kid-friendly exhibit on the park’s history and design.
There's also an info center at Belvedere Castle (mid-park at roughly 79th street), which is near the Delacorte Theater. It's also a top birding perch.
If you're uptown, head to the Charles A. Dana Information Center which is at 110th street in the park, between Fifth and Lennox Avenues. This one hosts a wide range of workshops.
Finally, there are 4 small information kiosks where you can get park info at the gates to the park at Columbus Circle; on the west side at 59th Street and 72nd Street; and on the East Side at 72nd street, near the Daniel Webster statue.
