Many hotels claim they have kitchenettes, but the Affinia truly delivers (great news for families). Each of their suites—and this is an all-suite hotel—features a kitchen that would make many native New Yorkers jealous, with a four-burner stove, full-size fridge, microwave, and full complement of flatware and cookware. The large on-site gym/spa is the Affinia’s other lure (the hotel will even provide you with a “fit kit” if you wish to work out in your room). Rooms themselves are very livable, with huge desks, armchairs, multiple beds (with multiple pillow options, through the pillow menu), and lots of closet space. Again, an excellent choice if you’re going to be sharing the room with several generations.
