Fans of Charles Dickens will feel right at home at this very old-fashioned and spotless if somewhat cheerless hotel (think "Bleak House"). The rooms have an Edwardian-meets-motel feel, many of the beds squeak, and most rooms share a bathroom. But when all is said and done, this is a very well-located, affordable place to stay in a city that has few such options.
