Try and ignore the fact that this little hotel just about defines the saying “Well, it ain’t the Savoy.” For a hotel this well located (just one block from Central Park), I’m willing to overlook beds that are a bit rocky (though not lumpy), scuff marks on the walls, and chipped furniture. Yes, the hotel needs refreshing, but the staff keep what it has very clean. And it’s nearly impossible to do better than the prices here in Manhattan, which include a coupon for breakfast at the pizzeria next door (no joke, they make eggs and waffles, apparently).
