Though Lincoln Center has its own forgettable restaurant on-site, this is really the only place in the immediate vicinity of that performance complex where one can have a meal as celebratory as the show is likely to be. That’s because the food is downright operatic here, a masterful take on Mediterranean fare, from the south of France to North Africa. And it’s all mighty tasty, whether you go for octopus grilled a la plancha with just the right amount of jerez vinegar, or the lamb loin sided by creamy tzatziki (a yogurt spread) and dusted with wonderfully sunny harissa spices. The room is elegant enough to wear your concert-going duds to, and the service is friendly and helpful.
