A happy little bistro where meats are cooked over an open fire, children are more than welcome, and the service is downright sweet. Head here if you want a really good meal without pretension (a rarity in New York City), and you enjoy a glass of vino that won’t break the bank (the restaurant has an excellent selection for both glasses and bottles, with an unusual number of affordable ones). Landmarc now has an uptown location, too, at the Time Warner Center, but it doesn’t have the charisma of the original.
