Grumpy waiters? Check. Sawdust on the floor? But of course! Beef so tender you can use a butter knife on it? Well, that’s why people are still coming to this iconic steakhouse set in a quiet stretch of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. While it's not quite as extraordinary an experience as it once was (it has a lot more competition now in the steakhouse categories) the beef, lamb chops and legendary creamed spinach are still delish. Two important notes: Credit cards aren’t accepted, so be sure to bring wads of cash. And you’ll need to reserve well in advance to get a table.
