Even your car has a view at this well-done, in-town hotel built in 2000. That’s because there’s a covered parking lot (a boon in car-crowded Newport in the summer) on the lobby level. There are no bad views here; every room looks out on the long, scenic stretch of Nye Beach directly below. The decor is tasteful and unobtrusive. Every room has at least a sofa; all have fireplaces and kitchenettes. The white bed linens are crisp and fresh. It all adds up to a room you can really relax in. Two other pluses: the full breakfast and the large, indoor, saline pool. Plus, you can leave your car to enjoy the view and walk everywhere in Nye Beach.
