You can't get any closer to the water than this. Located at the rear of the massive harbor-front warehouse that houses the Aquidneck Lobster Company, guests walk on old plank floorboards past tanks of critters and processing equipment to get to the large, casual bar area and back deck. There, patrons sip Newport Storm IPAs on draft and nibble raw bar treats while the waters of Newport Harbor lap against the piers beneath their feet. The sunsets and the views are specialties, up close and personal with the yachts docked in the harbor. The menu focuses on seafood, of course. Besides the raw bar, there are excellent versions of clam chowder, lobster rolls, and fried clam platters, as well as grilled salmon, swordfish, and tuna. This is no-frills seafood dining, right in the thick of the Newport waterfront scene (note that it does get a little loud from the popular bar area).
