Caroline Cellars

The vino might be more Wednesday table wine than it is something to be coveted, but this attached-to-the-tasting-room restaurant serves up one of the best-value lunches in Niagara. Servings are generous: A filet of rainbow trout on top of a cranberry-quinoa salad for $15 is fresh and filling, while the titanic poutine portions pack enough calories to fuel an entire weekend’s worth of wine tasting. The barn setting is appropriately country, though far from fashionable. Best of all: Tastings are free and a great way to kill some time while waiting for your table.
