This grand expanse of historic buildings and greenhouses, the former estate of Standard Oil heiress Mai Rogers Coe and insurance king William Robertson Coe, is one of the few Gold Coast properties to remain intact. As in its heyday of the 1920s, the 409 lush acres boast formal gardens, hiking trails, and two greenhouses with unique displays. The main building, Coe Hall, is a showy, 65-room Tudor Revival mansion that has many original pieces and furnishings, along with wood and stone carvings, stained-glass windows, and murals.
