Brownstone Café

Portions are unusually generous here, so share if you’re a light eater. Beside the usual lobster rolls, paninis, pizzas, and burgers are tasty Greek dishes like souvlaki and a grilled vegetable and feta pizza. They’ve also gone all in on the Quebec specialty poutine, offering the traditional version of the gravy, cheese curds on fries, as well as lobster or maple and bacon varieties. The place is often packed and they do not accept reservations, so go off times or expect a bit of a wait (try to get space on the roomy sidewalk patio where you can watch small-town life go by).
