Nürnbergers are good cafe sitters, and even in cold weather they huddle under warmers and blankets on cafe terraces in the pedestrian zones. An especially friendly atmosphere prevails at arty Treibhaus, Karl-Grillenberger-Strasse 28 (tel. 0911/223041; www.cafetreibhaus.de; U-Bahn: Weisser Turm), which serves breakfast, sandwiches and salads throughout the day, and cocktails and light dinners at night.
