This newer and bigger version of Side Street Inn opened in 2010. You can still go to the original one near Ala Moana for the divey, locals-only atmosphere, but I’ve found that the food is better prepared at this location, even though it’s pretty much the same menu of fried pork chops and kimchi fried rice with bacon, Portuguese sausage, and char siu. Portion sizes are as big as ever.
