Kaypee Soh, a local designer, opened his eponymous store here recently, showcasing colorful, tropical designs on housewares, from pillows to rugs, bowls to plates. Sure, you can pick up 5-buck flip-flops from Long’s, but you can also get slippers designed and handmade in Hawaii at Island Slipper. It’s open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 9pm, Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
