The commercial fishing docks in West Ocean City draw a crowd at dinner time. And that's because of the handful of good restaurants surrounding it. The Shark's food makes it the best. Relax at a table overlooking the bashed-up trawlers and order fresh seafood and a local craft brew or flight of wine. The Shark has emphasized locally sourced and organic ingredients for years—and list where the bison, the cheese, and the vegetables come from on the menu. Shark is often on the menu; spicy mako shark bites are a favorite. Lunch features $6 specials until 3pm. The restaurant is small and reservations are a must, especially in season.
