This hotel does things a little bit differently. Rather than walking to your four-walled room, you either climb or ride a zipline to the side of a mountain, suspended on a rock face 400m (1,312 ft.) above the ground, where the glass pod that holds your bed for the night is waiting. The owners claim it’s the world’s first hanging lodge and a million star hotel. Regardless of the clichés, the experience of sleeping comfortably on the side of a mountain with spectacular 300-degree views is one you probably won’t forget. It’s not exactly roughing it. The pods are equipped with solar power and have simple yet private bathrooms. Each pod holds up to four guests.
