Getting There

By Car -- If you’ve driven to Rijeka, it’s only another 20 minutes to Opatija via the coastal highway.

By Bus -- Local bus no. 32 (www.autotrolej.hr) stops in front of the Rijeka train station and travels the length of the riviera to Lovran every 20 minutes.

Opatija Tourist Information Office -- The tourist office (www.opatija-tourism.hr; tel. 051/271-310) provides maps and local information. It is located at M. Tita 128, on the main thoroughfare through the center of town.
