Getting There -- Orebić lies halfway down Pelješac Peninsula, a strip of hilly, fertile land noted for its vineyards. The town is about 1 hr. by car from Ston, the peninsula’s eastern border, and makes a nice base for day trips to the island of Korčula (served by regular ferry) or to explore the peninsula. There are three daily buses from Dubrovnik to Korčula, which pass through Orebićen-route.

Getting Around -- Everybody walks everywhere in Orebić, especially in the evening. The Riva is pedestrians-only, of course. To explore the hidden interior of Pelješac, you really need a car.
