Standards are high considering it's at the affordable end of the motel spectrum, and although the decor is less than pristine (it could be classified as "Early ‘80s Beige"), the staff keeps things spotless, and that's what you want. Rooms, all of which are nonsmoking, come stocked with a toaster oven, mini-fridge, free Wi-Fi, and a continental breakfast upgraded with eggs, oatmeal, pancakes, and waffles. King rooms face the north parking lot and are on the small side while double queen rooms look south on some pleasing old-growth Florida woods. The east-facing pool (it, too, is motel-simple) also faces the trees, which keeps this place from feeling hemmed in. Coupons from the tourist circulars often halve prices to $30 to $40.
