When you drive up to this concrete tower, you may be concerned. It is, after all, upgraded from what was once the largest Rodeway Inn in America. But fear not: This is value. It’s clean and on a lively bend of International Drive near Wet ’n Wild and 2 minutes’ drive from Universal, which makes eating cheaply a breeze. The pool is heated when it’s cold, security is always around, there’s a pub, you can get free Wi-Fi in the lobby ($9 with wires upstairs), and all rooms have a microwave and refrigerator. It’s dated, but all you need. The rate sometimes attracts noisy kids on school break, but on balance, you can’t do better at this price.
