This inn is a slice of old Cape Cod, a simple 1810 farmhouse that has been family-owned and -operated since 1982. The folksy rooms have hand-painted furniture, floral stencils, and trompe l’oeil walls. This is one of the few inns on the Cape that has some rooms with shared bathrooms; these are significantly less expensive in-season than anything else around. The main house has nine guest rooms, including six with shared baths. An outbuilding, the Carriage House, has larger rooms, and the stand-alone Outermost House, set in the apple orchard, is even more private. The inn is a short walk from Nauset Beach.
