This eye-catching Victorian mansion on Town Cove has quite a rich history. Captain Aaron Snow built it in 1875; it soon became known as “Aaron’s Folly” because of its large size. Today’s owners, the Maas family, have brought the inn back to its glory as a big part of the community. It is a popular function and wedding site. The restaurant and bar on the first floor are convenient for guests. A short walk across a parking lot brings guests to Goose Hummock, which rents kayaks for exploring the Cove. Rooms are simple but adequate, and half have Cove views.
