Diners are mixed on whether they consider the decor of Casa Conrado to be classic or old fashioned. Suffice it to say that Conrado is a fixture on the dining scene in Oviedo and is known for its preparations of classic dishes such as beans with partridge, creamed prawns on croutons, or baked rice with clams, hake, and artichokes. If you’re not in the mood for a full meal, stop in the lovely bar with polished wood and stained glass for tapas such as octopus with apple aioli and onion, or a small toast with ham and fresh duck liver.
