Thisi is the type of charming French restaurant you'd be happy to stumble upon in Paris. Finding it in Oxford, among all the student grub hubs, could be counted as a thrill. The waitstaff at this family-owned joint are charming, as is the decor, and the food is, to use a French word, parfait. All the iconic dishes are on the menu from flavorful mussels sided by (hooray!) shoestring fries to escargot to tender cote de boeuf. For dessert, we highly recommend whatever the crepe of the day is, as it's usually scrumptious. The restaurant is a short stroll from the Ashmoleon Museum.
