Family owned and operated, this charming four-story hotel with a vaguely Moorish tower sits up on a cliff above the sea in Illetes. A walkway of about 200 steps winds through the mature landscaped gardens down to the small beach below. The original hotel complex built in a few stages in the 1950s has about two-thirds of the rooms. Some of the larger rooms and suites are distributed among the outlying villas. The family has gone to great lengths to evoke a medieval Moorish fantasy with antique furniture and decorative elements.
