A daytime shuttle runs around the resort to pools, whirlpools, tennis center—ten Plexicushion tennis courts, 5 pickleball courts—and the golf course. The Shoppes at Edgewater restaurants are across the road. Last but not least, the 11,000-square-foot, Polynesian-style pool has waterfalls, islands, and a deck with live entertainment daily from 11am to 4pm. Besides the main pool, there are 11 pools in total between all the buildings, ten are heated. There’s also a fitness center, basketball, and shuffleboard courts. Alas, the guest digs are like Forest Gump’s box of chocolates—you never know what you’re gonna get. Some are well maintained and attractive, others not so much. Some modern, others more like the set of Golden Girls. Units in seven Gulf-side towers have the best views (emerald waters and sunsets).
