Las Vegas is the first impression one gets from Veneto. With its purple tones, Sin City-style signage, glittering lights, and full-scale casino, this is not your traditional Panamanian hotel. This isn't some second-rate Strip dive, either, but rather a full-on entertainment complex. The mezzanine-level casino has more than 40 tables and 600 slot machines, plus nightly live entertainment. The rooms are surprisingly conservative, with marble-lined bathrooms and fine linens. On the seventh floor you can hide away from the non-overnight guests in the gym, reasonably priced spa, and resort-like swimming pool. When it's time to mingle, there's the V Lounge, which overlooks the entire casino, as well as a New York-style steakhouse, sushi bar, and Italian restaurant.
