Named after the Panamanian golden frog, this brewpub on the edge of Casco Viejo has quickly blossomed into a major player on Panama's craft beer scene. A second pub has opened at Via Argentina and Calle Arturo Motta in El Cangrejo, and the same folks also operate their own food truck. This location has four beers on tap, which are brewed in large tanks that are separated by a glass wall from the main saloon-like bar area. My favorites are the porter and pale ale. A large patio has nice views of the bay and gets crowded on most nights. There's a decent menu of pizzas and pub grub, too.
