Restaurants in Park City

For a smallish town, Park City has a wonderful selection of very good restaurants. Several menu guides are available free at the visitor centers. Albertson's Food & Drug, 1800 Park Ave. (tel. 435/649-6134), has an excellent salad bar, deli, and bakery, and is a good choice for stocking up on groceries before heading to a condo or into the mountains. Two-for-one main courses are often available at Park City restaurants, especially in the off season; check the Park Record for information and coupons. For coffee, baked goods, and Internet access, try Alpine Internet Cybercafe, 738 Lower Main St. (tel. 435/649-0051; www.alpineinternet.net). If you're on a budget, head to either El Chubasco, 1890 Bonanza Dr. (tel. 435/645-9114), with great Mexican eats beloved by local mountain bikers and ski bums, and one of the best salsa bars this side of the border, or local favorite Davanza's, 690 Park Ave. (tel. 435/649-2222; www.davanzas.com), a family-friendly pizzeria with a huge beer collection and posters of Bob Marley and Farrah Fawcett lining its walls.
