Getting There -- I-84 runs east to west through Pendleton. From the south, take U.S. 395; from the north, take Ore. 11, which leads to Walla Walla, Washington. Seaport Airlines (tel. 888/573-2767; www.seaportair.com) has service to the Eastern Oregon Regional Airport, 2016 Airport Rd. (www.pendleton.or.us), from Portland. The airport is located about 4 miles west of downtown Pendleton.
