After refurbishment, 4 suites were added to the old artists' studio. Each suite has a mini kitchen, sofa, LCD TV, a king bed and can sleep up to 4 people when the sofa bed is used. Private bathrooms have a bathtub and shower. Standard and superior rooms with private bathrooms are also available. All are serviced daily. Kitchens include a fridge, microwave, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. Continental breakfast items are provided or guests can bring their own items. If traveling by car, Lands End, Geevor Tin Mine, the Eden Project and St Michael's Mount are good visitor attractions. Due to location a car is recommended, but not essential. Lamorna and Porthcurno beaches are close by, as is Mounts Bay for wind and water sports. Forbes was a member of the influential Newlyn School of painters. Today, artists may enjoy visiting the Newlyn Gallery, Penlee Gallery and Museum, and the Tate Gallery St Ives.
